Cytiva Kicks Into High Gear

By Ian Alexander

The new year came in like a lion for Cytiva and the result is a ton of great resources for clients, prospective clients and HR practitioners in general. First, we announced our 2009 Sonic TalentTalk Webinar Series, which continues Cytiva's tradition of providing valuable information about up to the minute talent management issues, in a "no-spin," hype free environment. I am constantly amazed at the feedback we get for TalentTalk webinars. People thank us for actually providing information they can use. Their typical experience in webinars is that they get one morsel of content and a flood of company/product information and demonstration. Not TalentTalk. We feel that we're all in this together and we all have a lot of good info to share, so why waste time trying to sell you something. If you're in the market for talent management solutions, you know where to find us. In the meantime, let's share some information and get to know each other.

I invite you to get to know Cytiva and take part in a TalentTalk webinar. The current line up of webcasts includes:
  • Onboarding and Socialization for Better Retention
  • Performance Management in a Down Economy
  • Uncover Hidden Cost Savings in Your Recruiting Process
  • Recruiting 2.0
  • Communicating Your Employment Brand
  • Career Center 101
  • Rethinking your Recruiting Metrics for a Down Economy
  • Tips and Tricks for Effective E-recruiting
  • Talent Acquisition Systems: Building a Strong Business Case

Registration for Sonic TalentTalk Webcasts is free. Visit http://www.sonicrecruit.com/company/events.htm for more information and to sign up.

Sonic Case Studies

We've added two new case studies to our overflowing library of customer stories. One of the unique aspects of Cytiva is that we have no shortage of clients who are happy to let us publish case studies about their experiences, and the latest two companies to let us peek behind the scenes are fascinating.

The first is from vehicle recovery giants, LoJack. It's a great snapshot of how one company has used their applicant tracking system to streamline their recruiting process. This global company with more than 1,000 employees has been able to manage their recruiting process with just one recruiter. They've leveraged their recruiting software by involving managers in the process. They've been so successful that they are beginning to roll out additional functionality surrounding onboarding and staffing vendor management to further reduce their costs and increase retention. You can find the full case study here.

The next case study comes from demand-supply chain software developer, E2Open. It is exciting for us because it is our first performance management software case study. E2Open implemented our SonicPerform solution in the 3rd quarter of 2008. So far they have completed their initial round of employee evaluations and have set their 2009 goals and linked them throughout their organization. E2Open has not been hit by the current economic conditions, but they definitely see how valuable the ability to align their workforce around strategic goals can help increase their productivity and efficiency in the short term. As for their review process with SonicPerform, they have saved significant amounts of headache and time for their HR department. As they describe it, review time used to be like tax season. Now they are surprised by how little time it takes to manage the process.
